Our Mission:
This site was built to support a YouTube channel that I started in august of 2012, where it sat dormant for almost a decade. Fast forward to recent times and I have since started sharing videos of our overland adventures, modifying our 2nd generation Tacoma and sharing our experiences along the way. I hope you are able to get some enjoyment from the content I have to share. I am not an expert in anything; however, I do thoroughly enjoy taking vehicles off-road and sharing what I have learned while doing so. Regarding the name MONTY, this was my grandfather's nickname. Monty had the spirit of a true explorer, and he instilled this passion in my father, who in turn passed it on to me. This purpose of this channel is to pay homage to my grandfather and take time to enjoy the less traveled parts of this country. I am certain Monty would join us on these journeys if he was still among the living. Recently, a friend from the UK has bestowed the nickname Monty upon me and I intend to fully live up to the name in my personal life and here on the interweb. Cheers!
